Ray Heisler Poetry exists as the result of a ten-year journey toward purpose, healing, and advocacy. During Raymond Heisler’s own struggles with depression, writing and artistic expression became essential tools for survival and self-understanding.

Ray believes that creative expression, especially writing, can serve as a gateway to insight, emotional clarity, and healing. His mission is to encourage people with disabilities and those hesitant to engage with healthcare systems to pursue mental-health awareness and support through accessible, creative spaces. At its core, the organization promotes respect, confidentiality, acceptance, love, and self-love.
